Shonda Mattocks serves as Operations Manager at The Ultimate Tax Experience, LLC, bringing a strong combination of operational leadership, business administration, financial management, and more than 30 years of legal experience. Her extensive background provides the firm with a unique operational advantage, strengthening its structure, processes, compliance, and overall business strategy. 

 

Shonda provides strategic and hands-on leadership across the firm, working closely with ownership to ensure the organization operates efficiently, professionally, and with accountability.

• Operations & Strategy  —  Directs daily operations, develops efficient workflows, and implements systems that strengthen organizational performance, and process improvement. 

• Financial Administration  —  Develops budgets and forecasts, monitors financial performance, tracks key metrics, oversees payroll administration and PTO management, and uses data to support informed business decisions. 

• Team Leadership & Development — Establishes policies, procedures, and performance standards, develops training programs and agreements; and implements processes that promote accountability, professional growth and organizational effectiveness. 

• Legal & Compliance Insight — Leverages 30+ years of legal experience to strengthen documentation, compliance, risk management, and organizational practices. 

• Client Experience — Establishes service standards and operational processes that create a consistent, organized,professional, and seamless service throughout the client journey. 

• Business Growth — Develops and implements strategic initiatives, monitors KPI’s, identifies opportunities for improvement, and builds operational infrastructure to support sustainable growth.

advancing cultural understanding within the community. She also has a passion for the arts and fashion, including ownership of her own designer brand, and enjoys hiking, outdoor activities, and experiences that inspire creativity and personal growth.

A creative artist at heart, Shonda has a passion for designing, cooking, traveling, hiking, and embracing the outdoors. She believes in trying everything at least once and is always open to new experiences and adventures. She is the proud pet mom of her miniature Schnauzer, JuJu Bea, and her cat, Sashimae, and a proud “Glam-Mom” to her daughter’s miniature Schnauzer, Jamieson. As a devoted girl mom, Shonda treasures quality time with her daughter.
